Great choice oatmeal dog shampoo. I have 2 dogs, one with dandruff and one without. My non-dandruff dog got this shampoo when I got his dandruff under control with something else. It does a wonderful job at treating his dandruff and I only have to use it about every 10 days. It's not drying, I don't notice any residue, and my dog loves it.
I have three dogs that are pretty much all hr. Our 2 Yorkies are the same age (10 months), and their hr was all oily and needed washing more often than the other two dogs who are 6 months old. I tried a couple of other shampoos, but nothing worked quite like this. The dry shampoo was good for when they needed it, but this works much better, especially in a long-lasting formula. My Yorkies love it.
This was one of those shampoo products where the name didn't really do the product justice. While it did work in the shower (and as a pre-shampoo rinse), it doesn't really do much to help keep my long hred kitty clean. It doesn't rinse off the smell from the fur very well, either. If I need a quick pre-bath routine I usually just use this dry shampoo.
I have several dogs that have hr, a lot of it. They get lots of baths. This works just like a lot of shampoos out there, with the exception of a few things: it smells just like their hr, it helps to control the oil buildup, and it isn't that sticky on the hr. It is just as gentle and easy to rinse away as other shampoos, and the smell comes right off, leaving the dogs smelling clean.
My favorite thing about this shampoo is that the label clms it's non-soap. That's great for my dog, and for the environment, and also makes it easy to throw away. I can use this shampoo as often as I need to, and I do. I use it with a washcloth as a pre-bath rinse, and when it comes time to bathe, I use it with water as a post-bath rinse. This works really well, and is really gentle on my dogs' skin.
This dry shampoo is great to use as a pre-shower "poo poo" type thing. I use it all over the house and it works amazingly well. My cats like it, too. It comes out of the can pretty easily, and is easy to use. I have tried it in the past to help reduce the odor on my kitty's fur, and that's great too.
This is another one of those products that doesn't really do much, but it works just fine for me, and it's non-toxic so I can toss it in the trash. It's a little more expensive than most dry shampoos, but I think it's worth the extra money.
This was one of the first dry shampoos I used, and it was a little expensive, but it worked. When I use it, I use it as a pre-shower spray, and it works great. I've tried using it as a post-shower spray, and it didn't work that great. I think the key is that it has to be sprayed as close to the hr as possible before a bath, and rinsed off quickly after a bath. This is a little messy, but it works and it's a nice scent, so I'm willing to live with that. It's worth a try for those of you that like using shampoo.
This product isn't something I would usually buy for myself. I've used it to cover up the odor on my cat's fur, but I don't really think it does anything for the odor. My cat doesn't seem to like it, but that's her loss. I guess this one is more for people who are trying to hide their smell than for people who need to get rid of it.
I've found the right shampoo for my dogs. This is a great shampoo for when you need to wash your dog's hr, but don't want to use soap. It doesn't dry the hr out, and is easy to rinse out. This shampoo is a lot of things at the same time, but it's not all bad. The only bad thing about it is that it makes my dogs look like they have an extremely oily sheen to their fur. I guess it's better than shampoo that makes them look really oily, but I like my dogs to look a little more natural. This is a great product for washing dogs when you don't want to use soap.
The only thing that really worked for me with this shampoo was the spray. It helped to get rid of the oil build up that makes dogs look like they have oily hr. It washes off easily, and I can rinse it out with water. It's a little expensive, and I wish it came in a tube, but that's the only problem with it.
I really like this shampoo. I love that it's non-soap. The smell isn't overwhelming, but it's nice. My dogs love it, and I've been using it for a few years now. I only have one problem with it: It doesn't really do anything for the buildup on their fur. They still look a little oily, and I don't know what it does for the hr at all.
This shampoo was great when I first got it, but it didn't do much to help get the oil off of my dog's fur. I think it would be really good if they made a non-soap version for people who don't have any allergies. It's a great product for people who need to use shampoo, but are on a budget.
This is one of those products where the name didn't really do the product justice. This shampoo is one of the best I've used. It smells great, and it makes it easy to get rid of the oil buildup that can happen from too many baths. I like to rinse it out with a hose or a sponge, but it does work really
